    AKA has worked with some of the worlds largest broadcasters supplying modern and stylish broadcast furniture consoles to integrate with the latest technology. Our broadcast furniture ranges include a sit stand desk option and our knowledge of ergonomics and equipment layout has meant we have won some of the most prestigious installations in recent years including BBC Broadcasting House where we completed the four large Broadcast galleries and over 70 editing, news, graphics and weather desks.

BBC Broadcasting House

AKA were delighted in winning the hard fought tender for the BBC’s new flagship news facility at BBC Broadcasting House, W1. AKA supplied all of the live Control Furniture for the four main studios and over 70 Editing, Graphics and Reporters Desks. We are delighted with the results of combining the latest technology and working practices within a stylish and practical furniture meeting the exacting standards of our National Broadcaster.

Globecast

Globecast are a global distribution and management provider for the broadcast industries who contacted us for the re-vamp of their central London Hub. AKA were asked to provide a relaxed and less clinical area for their central play-out gallery, but still encompassing the most up to date technology in an ergonomic and efficient way.

MTV, Amsterdam

The MTV installation is a great example of the different design packages AKA can provide. As well providing custom designed studio furniture for Playout, Audio, Tracklay studios, we also supplied Post and Avid Editing rooms using our AKAPoduct furniture ranges, for  ease of shipping and installation.

News International

AKA was commissioned by News International to design and manufacture Broadcast, Presenters and Editing furniture for the new studios at their London head-quarters.

QVC, Tokyo

AKA were commissioned by WTS Asia to furnish QVC’s new Tokyo facility. The project was to create two full Control suites and MCR in addition we also designed and manufactured Edit, Graphics and Audio Prep desks.
